Thai Basil Beef

Sauce- prep and set aside
- 3 Tbsp Brown sugar can sub 2 T white sugar, 1 T molasses
- 5 Tbsp Soy sauce use Tamari for Gluten Free
- 2 Tbsp Water
- 2 Tbsp Fish sauce
- 2 tsp Sambal Olek chile paste
Ingredients
- 6 mini peppers, sliced can sub 2 bell peppers
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bunch fresh basil, sliced into ribbins
Serve with
- 1 lime, squeezed
- cauliflower rice or white rice
Mix sauce ingredients and set aside
Slice peppers and onions, mince garlic and set aside
Slice beef steak or crumble ground beef and cook
Add mixed vegetable to meat and cook about 4 minutes till tender crisp
Add sauce and simmer 1-2 minutes
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh basil and squeeze of lime
Serve over cauliflower rice, white rice, or combination of both
